Support for Performers and Creatives

People working in the creative industries often face intense pressures, including tight deadlines, unpredictable workloads, financial insecurity, long hours and the emotional demands of producing original pieces of work. Over time, this stress can seriously affect mental and emotional wellbeing, leading to anxiety, exhaustion, low confidence, burnout and a reduced sense of motivation or creative fulfilment. Because creative work is often deeply personal, sustained pressure can also make it harder for individuals to separate professional challenges from their own sense of identity and self-worth.

As a registered practitioner with BAPAM (the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine), Sharon is able to provide confidential one-to-one mental health support for people working within the creative and performing arts industries, at the same time assisting, where needed, with any other issues that may be impacting the artistic or creative process.
