Artist Wellbeing
A recent study conducted by Actors' Trust revealed a severe mental health crisis amongst UK acting and stage management professionals, with about three-quarters experiencing mental health difficulties in the past three years. Over a quarter reported thoughts of self-harm or suicide, highlighting an urgent need for support to combat burnout, financial instability, and trauma.
As a highly experienced counselling practitioner who is registered with BAPAM (the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine), Sharon is able to provide confidential one-to-one mental health support for people working within the creative and performing arts industries, at the same time assisting, where needed, with any other issues that may be impacting the artistic or creative process.
